This contributing editor did not begin compiling this DC Blogs Noted post with a romance theme in mind. But, well, unexplainable attraction, inconvenient feelings, substitute for chocolate, romance happens… even on the interwebs…

Lime Fresh
| Seven salsa dips at Lime Fresh |
The warm tortilla chips and vast array of dipping sauces was a nice start to the warm and group friendly tables in the rear. Typcially patrons order first and pay at the cashier, then the food is delivererd to your table and it then becomes full service. Happy Birthday Charlie Dickens
As you (like Google) may know, author Charles Dickens was born 200 years ago today. He was a peculiar person, being obsessive-compulsive, a practical joker and an egomaniac and all, but he was pretty odd as a writer, too. He published his novels in weekly or monthly installments before he finished them, which must have been nerve-wracking for author and editor alike. Maybe we should think of him as a sort of Victorian blogger.
