Birthdays and Surgeries and Games, Oh My!

Friday night was the normal game night scheduled at Casa de Tall People.

This month, though, it happened to coincide with a couple of birthdays and a successful medical procedure for one of the residents.

Of course, this lead to a great deal of celebration. A great deal of celebration that brought all sorts of rarely seen people out to have a good time, at least for a little while.

Here we see the birthday girl in a spiffy pirate hat surrounded by be-hatted friends--something that was, of course, standard for the evening.

There really is nothing quite like mixing a diverse bunch of people with a handful of games, marinating all in a wee bit of alcohol (and chips and candy and divine red velvet cake), and having things go until about 4 a.m.
