New Browncoats: Redemption Trailer

Over this past weekend, the new trailer for Browncoats: Redemption, the movie I helped out with a bit over the summer, made its debut at the Farpoint convetion up the road a bit in Baltimore.

For Christmas, I got a spiffy new HD TV.

A couple of weeks ago, I got a new laptop. I purcahsed a nice new HP model with a built in BluRay drive and HDMI-out figuring it would solve two problems--my old laptop was really showing its age and I had no BluRay player to hook up to my nice new TV.

The HDMI cables I ordered showed up in the mail yesterday and, on my way home from work, I picked up my first Bluray movies: Zombieland (which I missed in theaters) and Sin City (which I somehow never picked up on DVD).

A bit of an overview on the MPAA and how films get rated. Nothing in depth, more of a cultural perspective on the ever-changing line being walked. And some well-deserved pokes in the eye for some silly "for the children!" decisions.
